Sorry I haven't written in a while...

Sorry, I've been out of touch but I've been very busy with an exciting project.  My friend Sani and I are premiering a webseries on April 17th called, Gossip Meets Couture with Leigh -N- Sani.  Also, we are launching a website http://www.gmcwithleighnsani.com/ where we will give celebrity updates, fashion updates as well as feature unsigned music artists, designers and etc.  Please check it out!

Fun weekend.

Hey Everyone!!  I had an awesome time on Friday at the Go green fashion show at Greenhouse club.  Pics and videos will be up soon from the event!  I put new photos today that I did with a great photographer Kenny Flash and Make-up artist Arooba Alam.  Great team to work with!  Also, next weekend I'm taking a great workshop with the casting directors from Law and Order (Jonathan Strauss) and Gossip Girl (Kim Miscia).  I'm really excited about that and a few other opportunities presented themselves last week.  So, hopefully I will have good news to report soon.  I'm trying to get to LA in April to make connections there as well.  Looking forward to whats to follow!  Stay tuned...

Had a busy and productive week.  I went on several reality castings and I'm waiting to hear back from them.  Also, I went on a few hair show castings and booked one.

When is Spring already?

Hi Everyone.  I had a great weekend.  I had a very successful photo shoot on Sunday and can't wait to put up the new photos.  I sucked it up and took pics in the freezing cold not wearing too much.  The results will be worth it, lol.  I had a big audition yesterday!  Hopefully at the end of the week, I can report big news but for now it's hush hush.  Things are def moving in the right direction!!!

So the weekend is finally here!! I'm excited I have a big photo shoot tomorrow for Wilhelmina!!  Making the final decisions on wardrobe for the shoot.  I had my fitting this week for the movie I will be in!  Can't wait to share more info!!!!  Things are moving along in a positive direction!! Below 0 in NYC

Hi Everyone.  Yeah so it's freeeeeezing in NYC but Jets fever is in the air.  We've had a ton of snow already and more is on it's way but that's not going to stop me.  Tomorrow, I'm going to Philadelphia for my runway classes and between photoshoots, castings and fittings, it will be a busy week.  Busy is good, it means I'm closer to my dreams. :) Don't forget to check out my website, http://www.leighjmerrill.com/.

Ah, so today I got to rest a little bit and take a break from my busy schedule!  I had an eventful few days.  I did a hair workshop and a photo shoot with an awesome photographer, Stuart Leslie and MUA Marisa Campmany.  Also, today I got casted for a major film, so I'm very excited.  More details on that to follow...
